TEN of ROTOCON’s partners participated in Labelexpo Americas in Chicago during September, including Domino, DuPont, Erhardt+Leimer, EyeC, MPS Systems, Phoseon Technology, rosas Maschinenbau, Rotocontrol, Screen and Wink Stanzwerkzeuge.
New products were introduced by EyeC and rosas Maschinenbau. EyeC launched the EyeC ProofRunner HighLight, specially developed for 100% inspection of highly finished labels and folding cartons in the premium segment. Labelexpo visitors had the opportunity to gain insight into the application possibilities of the ProofRunner HighLight Web, mounted on a Rotocontrol ECOLINE RSI-340 finishing machine.
rosas Maschinenbau introduced the Infinity 4K line scan camera designed for tabletop rewinders that handle web widths of up to 520mm and features new AI-based print inspection technology. Also demonstrated was the second-generation Gazelle high-speed bidirectional rewinder for imprinting a variety of label types that incorporates Graph-Tech USA’s EZ 202 DOD colour inkjet head.
The Domino K600i dual bar digital UV inkjet printer was also on display, which allows variable data printing at up to 150m/min and the ability to print serial, batch, random or PINs, alphanumeric characters, variable images, linear barcodes, 2D matrix or QR codes.
DuPont presented Cyrel Fast, a thermal plate-making system that consists of a thermal processor and a variety of photopolymer printing plates for flexible packaging, labels and other applications. The company also promoted its Cyrel Lightning plates.

Erhardt+Leimer showcased its expertise in manufacturing web guides for non-woven, label, battery, narrow web and wide web applications along with tension control solutions, web viewing and inspection technologies.
MPS Systems presented information about its next-generation EF machine, the benefits of its patented E-Sleeve and its ‘Connect to Grow’ vision, which helps customers achieve the best performance and maximum return from their MPS machine, with connectivity as one of the key driving factors.
Phoseon Technology introduced Nexus One UV LED curing products for more sustainable flexographic printing applications. All Nexus One UV LED curing products offer a five-year warranty and enable quality applications at fast press speeds.
Rotocontrol held live demonstrations of inline hybrid technology featuring its DT-340 digital label finishing machine with an integrated Domino N610i label press, combining the productivity of flexo printing with the flexibility offered by rapid job change digital technology.
Wink Stanzwerkzeuge was also on Rotocontrol’s stand as a partner presenting its high-precision flexible dies, cylinders and steel rule dies.
Screen showcased the Truepress Jet L350UV SAI, the latest model from the L350UV series with a resolution of 600 x 600dpi and speeds up to 60m/min. The Truepress Jet L350UV SAI series prints in CMYK plus white, blue and orange options. Automated head cleaning is activated by the press of a button.
