Job Title: Service Technician – Label Printing & Finishing Machines
Location: Germany (with regular travel across Europe)
Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled, driven Service Technician to join our European team specialising in slitting, rewinding, inspection and finishing equipment for the label industry.
As a Service Technician, you will play a key role in ROTOCON’s technical service operations in Europe—installing, commissioning, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-performance label printing and finishing equipment. This hands-on role with an engineering mindset involves regular travel and close collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Installation and commissioning of label printing and finishing machines at customer sites across Europe
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and operational breakdowns
• Providing on-site and remote technical support
• Training customers and operators on machine operation and best practices
• Performing routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Diagnosing issues and implementing solutions with minimal downtime
• Delivering after-sales service that reflects our legacy of trust and long-term thinking
• Working closely with our sales, engineering, and operations teams
Qualifications and Skills
• Proven experience with printing, converting, or finishing machinery (label industry experience a strong advantage)
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Solid understanding of print and converting processes and machine operation
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Excellent communication and customer-facing skills; English required, German an advantage
• Hands-on, solution-driven mindset
• Professional and customer-focused approach
• High attention to detail and quality
• Technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronic Engineering preferred, or equivalent practical experience
• Valid driver’s licence
• Willingness to travel across Europe on a regular basis
• Valid passport and ability to travel at short notice
